there is only one holiday during this month which is Queen's day and it's the 30th this celebration is throughout the island with folklore music, dances, challenging activities for kids and adults and the most popular is the kite flying competition. maybe you can see a couple of kites in the skies the time you are visiting. i can't wait to show my son (he's 2 years old) how to fly one.
More events will be added when getting closer to the date. nightclubs, cocktail and cigar lounges have their own nightly theme and entertainment, that includes live performances, jazz music, latin music and much more
cultural activities for April 12-20 are
Tuesdays: Bonbini Festival Every Tuesday 18:30 - 21:00 hours. At Fort Zoutman, Oranjestad. This is a cultural event where local musicians, singers and dancers come together. Visitors are able to purchase souvenirs, and sample the local cuisine.
Launch of the “Herencia di Sclavitud” or Slave Heritage Exhibition.The National Archive in cooperation with the National Library of Aruba is hosting this culturally rich exhibition aimed at bringing further awareness to the community about the history of slavery in the Dutch colonies.
