How much is gas where you live?

I filled my tank up today for $1.879 at Sams Club. It is 2 cents higher at most other stations around the Tulsa area.

In Holland I pay 1.40 euro for 1 liter. That would be 1.76 in dollars and for a gallon it would bring you to US 6.20... Still feel the need to complain??? :wink_smil :teeth_smi

Here in Hatfield, PA it was $2.37/$2.57

Isn't it just unbelievable how, before an election, the gas mysteriously goes down in price??

bob, a liter is a little more than a quart so there are approximately 4 liters in a gallon. makes those prices very high, doesn't it?

It was $2.07 in Western Maryland this morning. (And I'm thrilled to get .60 off with my Martin's gas savings the next time I have to get gas there).:D Yesterday I saw that it was $2.15 in Morgantown W.V. and Washington, PA.

Sherry- For every $100.00 you spend at Martin's, they give you .10 off a gallon of gas. And they put specials where if you buy 8 of certain items you might get an additional .20 off. The points accumulate for a certain time period and then they must be used by a certain time period. Martin's tabulates everything on your grocery receipt along with your bonus points. I had enough bonus points accumulated during a certain time period to get a "free" turkey(I know that this isn't related to the gas).

dwippies Monday, November 17th, 2008 08:52 AM

Re: How much is gas where you live?

this week i should have enough for the turkey. the gas thing just started here on the latest circular. thanks for the info.

Re: How much is gas where you live?

It dropped below $2 a gallon at many stations here in FL today. Sam's Club may be lower but it is 10 miles away.
I remember that we paid $4.03 around the July 4th holiday.
I also remember than I paid $3.55 on October 5th -- the day we returned from Aruba.
I have a bookmark on an MSN website that tracks gas prices.
According to them, it is still around $2.20 a gallon in upstate NY (our old home area of Albany).
We made a trip to Branson, MO last week and saw gas as low as $1.78 en route.

For the Europeans who answered, I am wondering if their price has gone up and down in recent months.

On the Arubalife website, I saw that gas went down significantly from October to November. Still high in Aruba at something like $4.02 a gallon, but better than over $5.25 a gallon in late September.
