Default protest?

Wednesday the 17th of March, 8:30 AM, aruban residents will gather in front of the Aruban parliament. Where they will express their concerns about the current developments that are taking place on Aruba. (regarding hotel
construction-Ritz Carlton and the just announced 5 star hotel just in
front of the Arashi beach).

nice to see that arubans are passionate about aruba. also nice to see they go about it legally.

The only way to effect change is to let those in Power know you are not happy with their policies . I hope all arubans and Yes even some tourist go there to voice their opinions.

Hope the government listens to them...we don't want it to be built. The beach is too crowded as it is...

The protest must be working. On Amigoe.com/english it does not look good for Golf Course's Hotel.

I do not think with the present government it is a DONE deal. There will still be many hurdles to get over.

Hopefully many years away. I own at the Surf Club and Marriott definetely overbuilt that section of the beach, but no matter what, Aruba is heaven on earth!
