Re: Rain
well, honestly, there has been a major shift in weather this year and there has been a lot more rain than normal. also, this is the rainy season but it started really early this year at the end of september instead of november. normally we could say with great certainty that the rain would be a shower lasting 2-5 minutes but this year it may be a lie.

I go to this Web Site every day to see the weather, rain, beach, ... Hope all that rain is over. The big question is when are you going? If going in May or June I would say don't worry. |
Re: Rain
tom, they are going in about 2 weeks.

Re: Rain
Mr. Manzanita & I were in Aruba for 5 weeks (Nov 14 to Dec 19) & experienced A LOT of rainy days. Guess what? It WAS NOT HORRIBLE FOLKS!! We went to the Aruba Archealogical museum, downtown Oranjestad shopping, Seaport Village, Herencia Mall (numerous times), Noord, et. al.
Aruba is Aruba & an amazing destination no matter what the weather. There's plenty to do no matter what! |
Re: Rain
Sherry gave a good synopsis.
We always had great weather for 3 weeks starting in mid-September for 20 years. This year, a lot less favorable. Flooded roads were quite scary. A friend wrote that they had just a couple sunny days during 3 weeks in November. We'll see about next year, but I do agree with Mrs. Manzanita. There are other things to do! A rainy first trip might be hard...if planning on a great beach vacation. Usually, the rain every day forecast is wrong or it means a shower for 30 seconds to a few minutes. Let's hope it goes back to our normal! |
Re: Rain
Please, please let it return to normal. I know there are other things to do, but please, please return to normal. I know rain in Aruba is still better than rain in NY, but please, please return to normal. Did I say please enough?
