Unhappy So much for starting a Business in Aruba

We have been coming to Aruba for many years. We fell in love with the old colony section of Baby Beach. So much so we are planning on trying to start a business in Aruba (yes we have a lawyer etc) but after reading the announcement from the Aruba government about staying in Aruba we can see that Aruba wants thier economy to tank. This new policy is in no means good for Aruba as a whole. If I own a house I can only stay 180 days period now. So if I have enough cash on hand to start a business in Aruba I can only stay 180 days. Wow I thought things were bad in the US, guess not.

I didn't know they were so strict and had these regulation. I think, as long as you come with money and you want to invest there, they should let you invest. Very strange. Maybe this island is not for you. Try investing elsewhere!
