My wife and I ate here for the first time. We ate on the outside porch and the service was the most efficient and friendliest we experienced during our stay in Aruba. Our entrees were good, not great; BUT the crème brule dessert was about the best I ever had. The serving was large, with a scoop of cream on top, and the taste was just perfect. We will return here next year.

Had dinner at Bingo's last week. We weren't starving so my mom had a bowl of spinach and shrimp soup and I had carpaccio and we shared a side salad. My mom's bowl of soup was huge and delicious. The carpaccio was delicious as well. The side salad was also very large and filled with pine nuts which I love. I had the herb dressing which was very good. We then shared a creme brulee. It was a large size portion and oh so delicious. The staff was so friendly and nice as well.

I had some take out the other nite. The Bingo burger and a Sate skewer. and it was as good as allways. My son loves your french fries, me too. and I was so stupid to forget to order the chocomousse. Maybe a extra big order this weekend to make up for my memory loss of the last time.

Alright guys! I haven't eaten at Bingo's yet, but we're going in December & will definitely stop in! There are just too many excellent reviews of Bingo's for us not to eat there! I'm convinced!

Had 2 great meals at Bingo's last month. I'm not a fish eater but hubby Charlie has two great fish meals. One was with shrimp and he said he never saw so many shrimp in a entree (12 nice size shrimp). And it always great to see Mike and Peter (from Que Pasa).

That's true - you won't go home from Bingo! hungry.

The more I think about it, Christmas Eve dinner at Bingo sounds like a good idea. Wonder how far ahead I have to book.

Here is our lunchmenu, we are starting lunch on November 1st!!!!

Bingos is located in Noord. I am not great at directions, I know you go to the high rise area and make a right, go down and it is on your left in the same strip mall as Linda's Pancakes.

Can someone please tell Diane where exactly that right is?

I believe you take the right that is before the little strip mall with the Domino's Pizza and Wendy's.

If you are on the road right in front of the high rise hotels you would take the turn before Arawak gardens and keep going past the Domino's and Wendy's and Bingo's will be on the left.

Make a right turn at Soprano's. Cross the traffic light where the Palm Beach Mc Donald's is. About 1 mile on the left is Bingo's. It's after the Valero gas station and in the same parking lot as Linda's Pancakes. You would also have passed Sole Marie and Bella Luna (which would have been on your right).

Bingos's was probably the most memorable meals we had in Aruba this trip. Mike is the Numero Uno embassebdor to this island. We came early in the day, & shared some wonderful conversation & bar-time with him. We came later in the evening & had an outstanding meal (including service). I can honestly say this was the highlight of our trip to Aruba this year (after 11 years). Bingo's is definitely going to be one of our top priorities while in Aruba from now on....

I love the Onion soup at Bingo's. Yum.

After much hype about Bingo's we finally went there in Jan.

My husband and I ordered the onion soup (which was not served in a bread bowl) and it had a piece of bread in it and some sort of cream on top. It was good but not what we were looking forward to. We ordered the shrimp with pasta and it was very good.

We felt that for what we ate and the atmosphere that night (the whole bar was full and smoking) the $75 it cost us we could have gone anywhere. Don't get me wrong what we ate was very good but not what I had expected from all the reviews on the various boards.

Would we go back - - - probably not. Just my honest opinion.

They haven't been able to serve them in bread bowls since last fall now since their bread vendor no longer makes the bread bowls.

I think the cream on top that you're describing was probably melted goat cheese (my favorite.)

But I did like it better in the bread bowl and they are still trying to find another vendor who makes them.

Thanks for the explanation. We were so looking forward to having it in the bread bowl. The waitess should have told us that when we ordered and would probably have ordered something else.

Again, what we ordered was good but felt for the price it was not worth it.

Hi People,

The traditional (french) Onion soup is served with bread and melted cheese on top.
We do put Goatcheese on the bread we put on our Onionsoup, which isnt like a cream....
Its too bad we cant get the right bread, so we can serve it as a bowl.
And you are right, the waitress should have told you, but if you read this bulletinboard, you should have known we dont do that no more....but im sorry she didnt tell you.

Anyway, a lot of people love our Onionsoup, and some people dont, its a matter of taste I guess.

But I disagree if you say we are too expensive.

The Onionsoup is $7,-, and its a huge bowl, the Gamba's are $22,-, for which you will get 9 Shrimp, served with pasta.

So if you ordered 2 soups and 2 Gamba's, the bill would be $58,-, which isnt $75,- (22 % less)

I just think that the price vs quality we serve is very good....

But again, its all a matter of taste, and I still will let you know when we are going to serve the onionsoup in a bowl of bread again.

Guessing that the 22% difference you cite might be the amount of the tip they left, or maybe a couple of drinks...

Onion soup can be radically different from one restaurant to the next, and as you said it's a matter of taste. Expectations can be a meal-killer!

We went for lunch and had an enjoyable meal. My husband had the chicken shwarma which had excellent sauces and I had a salad and the shrimp escargot dish. LOVED the shrimp!!!

Just some updates on Bingo!:
-We are remodeling the front of our bar/restaurant....its looking good already!!
-We are changing the terrace with new roof and new lights
-Hope we can start with our new menu end of october
-We have our 3 year celebration at the end of october
-Amy didnt break any glasses yet!
-Mike is going to be a father on February 14th 2008
-Mike is pretty nervous about that

It was our first and last time at Bingo's..the food was not good and they had the nerve to charge us for the stale rolls they served us.

Because not many people do not enjoy their dinner at Bingo!, I do remember the night you were having dinner.
I think you ordered grouper and the chicken caeser salad.
The chicken was tough and you were right about that, we took it of your bill and gave you drinks on the house, which is very reasonable I think.

If people order some extra dinner roll, ofcourse we charge them for it.
In your case we even took those rolls off your check.

I always compare it with going to a gasstation: I let them put 10 liters of gasoline and then ask them for an extra gallon....they always charge me 11 gallon ...

Im sorry you had a bad experience, we tried to solve it..apperently it didn't work out the way you wanted.

Mike - it sounds like you and Bingo! made an excellent effort to make amends to a patron's unsatisfactory experience, and I can appreciate that you followed up here on the BB with an explanation. Unfortunately meals won't always be cooked perfectly, service won't always please everyone, and all anyone can ask is that efforts are made to address issues as they arise. You did this that night, and again here.
