Chris started with the salad bar and I had the escargot. We both ordered the Captain Kidd’s Shrimp Treasure (which is their signature dish). There were 5 shrimp, in a delicious sauce, that were gigantic! The dish is a little spicy and very filling. The VisitAruba Plus card got us a free bottle of wine (which Chris finished off by himself). $77 with 15% service charge included – very reasonable.

The Flan wasn't as good as I remembered it to be. The "burnt sugar" kinda tasted chocolaty.

We had such horrible service and expensive for mediocre food that I don't think I could get my husband to even try it again! He was upset the service charge was added, cuz we wouldn't have left anything-it was that bad! There are too many other good places we haven't been yet and too many we have had good food and service at that we will return to,to go here again I think.

We really enjoy this restaurant...goes to show you "different strokes for different folks".

for several years in a row we had great food and service. last august the food was bad and the service was worse. the worst part was it was our last meal on that trip and we have saved the place for last because of the good meals previously. it wound up being the only bad meal we had.

Years Ago We Liked It But The Last Few Years The Food And Service Were Awful. Won't Be Going Back . Theresa
