The Divi website still said there is a charge. Did you see it on the trip advisor sight or a review?

We were at the Phoenix in November and the wifi is now free with a strong signal. However, beware that everytime you log on a post appears on your facebook page notifying the world you are at the Phoenix. Wish I knew how to prevent that.

I go to the divi phoenix twice/year and there still was no free wifi as of my october/november 2013 stay. i use the MIO device available on the island for a 1-time fee of $40-ish and $25/month for 4Gb data...unit is yours forever...connect up to 5 devices, use it ANYWHERE on the island! best competition out there for the crappy, expensive, unreliable SETAR network.

I just returned from 2 glorious weeks at the Phoenix. 2 blackberry's and 2 laptops connected to DIVI WiFi all the time- FREE! Sometimes the laptop would wifi would disconnect if left unattended for long stretches and there was limited activity, but all in all it was great not having to pay $100 for each device.

We just returned from two weeks too Marcus and were happy with the free wifi.
Brad, when the Facebook screen comes up, there is an option to use a password instead. Call the front desk and they will provide you with the password. This eliminates the location posting.

Enjoy Walter! We were very happy with the positive changes this year. Pure Beach had greatly improved in food and service as did Pure Ocean. We really enjoyed the Saturday BBQ at Pure Ocean and the beautiful setting. Great arrival day dinner!
