Default New towers - room numbering scheme

Hi,

Just returned from Aruba yesterday and currently own at the Aruba Grand / RIU. Considering purchasing one of the units in the new buildings (Suites). If I remember correctly, the buildings (closest to the water) start with bldg. 9 and work back from there. But how do the room numbers work? (I'm only interesting in a 1st floor units). I'm trying to figure out the room numbers all the way around on the first floor.

Thanks for your help!

I Love Aruba Re: New towers - room numbering scheme

You are correct that the first number is 9,8,7, or 6 to identify the building. the second number is the floor so you want a 1 as the second number if you want the first floor. The third number is the room number. I know if the third digit is 4 it is the end unit with the two balconies.

So room 964 is the building closest to the beach on the 6th floor in the end unit closest to the beach.

OK, it's coming together now. Thanks for that information. The building number (first number) and the floor number (second number) makes sense now. But there are 5 units across each building and I know the end unit closest to the water in the "8" building ends in a 4 (as you also confirmed in your example). So, I wonder which one ends in 5? Perhaps it is numbered from right to left, except the studio (which is the middle unit) is 5?

The mystery continues...

Perhaps it goes left to right (starting from the lobby working towards the beach) starting with a zero. 0,1,2,3,4

Of course, right to left (standing in the pool) starting with a zero, I'm sure that's it!

The room numbers go from 4 to 0 left to right(facing bldg) or water side inwards. 914 would be be end bldg closest to water and first floor room on water side, working down to 910, first floor room on other end of bldg.
