New Villas Beach

Just got here on Saturday and was surprised to see the beach in front of the new villas cordoned off with yellow warning tape, and 8 out of 10 of the oceanfront palapas knocked down. The wind must have been really strong last week with the storm that came through. Some of the lights along the sidewalk were knocked down too.

The rest of the resort looks wonderful! Weather has been fantastic with full sun and a nice breeze.

WiFi is $50 per week - not quite free... (54 mbps)
Been snorkling off the beach @ Divi & Malmok, in 6" of water the bottom was clear, probably not as clear as past years due to the Sept storms.
No rain, but passing clouds daily.

Water is not as clear as it has been in the past, but it is warm and delightful! Some clouds today, the first in 12 days that we've been here. Weather changes constantly, but it's not stormy like September and the beginning of October was. Almost no breeze yesterday and today.
