Website to read new Marriott timeshare program?

What is the site that you can find posts regarding the new program Marriott started this year? I think you can also list your villa to rent? Also, does anyone know any sites other than Redweek to post a villa for rent? My wife's school schedule changed and we can't use our reserved week this year and I hate to come up empty handed....

Hi iamromo, are you referring to the Marriott Vacation Club Destinations program? They have a website - its: Marriott Vacation Club - Home

However I am not sure if you can post for rent there.

Thanks for the quick response; however, that is not the site I was thinking of. It was a timeshare site where owners (of all different timeshaares)voiced their opinions of the new program (mostly negative) and it was also a place to place an ad. I deleted the site by mistake awhile back and just can't think of it's name.

You're welcome. There's a pretty lengthy discussion on TripAdvisor, and you mentioned Redweek, there's a discussion on their blog too.

Perhaps you're referring to the Timeshare Authority website - there is commentary on there. It links out to other sites for posting your timeshare for rent though.

You're welcome to post it in our rentals section too, many people do that ;)

TUG (Timeshare Users Group) might be the one you are talking about. I think you have to be a member to post a rental. I won't join; too many non timeshare post in their Lounge (non timeshare section). I actually think there are more non timeshare posts than timeshare related posts.

In the light of this discussion, there is some news about Marriott separating the timeshare aspect of their business from their core business of fee-based rooms.

Perhaps owners will find this interesting:

Marriott timeshare spinoff

I posted it under Ocean Club but I guess it applies to any Marriott Timeshare property.
