Default Six people in a one bedroom?

Hi, I have a one bedroom timeshare for the week of 4/30-5/7/10. Four of us were going and that works out fine (eventhough as we all know the pull out couch is the worst!). Now I have two additional people coming. The more the merrier I say, but it will be really crowded. Now I'm worried if they will allow six in a one bedroom! Two questions: Do they allow more than 4? and Has anyone else ever been able to trade for a two-bedroom when they've gotten there?

Depending on when you purchased your contract will say-sleeps 4 or sleeps 5.
There are only a few 2 bedroom units-only 1 on the 5th floor-not sure of the number on 3.

Thanks Lynn. I remember when we got the timeshare we were told that we could have up to 6, eventhough the contract does say 4. Of course that was probably just a ploy so that we would buy. We never had more than 3 at one time....we've been going since 2000! I don't know what will happen when we get there, but the airline tickets are bought!

There's a family week 44/45 on the 3rd floor that always had 6. A couple with 2 young boys and their parents. They now have a daughter so there were 7 of them. They got a crib and 2 roll aways. Last year it did get tight and they requested a 2 bedroom. Not sure if they got it though.

Are they charging for roll aways? One yr. they did-the next did not and I read (don't remember where) that they are charging again and raised the price.

Room 175 sounds like the oceanfront units. I don't think these are lock outs. Lynn, maybe you will know for sure.

The oceanfronts-to my knowledge are not lock0ff. The masterbedroom which faces the ocean-has a king bed and large window. The 2nd bedroom is small with twin beds-no windows. The living area and kitchen are between the 2 bedrooms-all open. The only privacy would be to close the bedroom door. When we did a trade with II-we did not get the unit stated on our paper. If you get a unit on the 3rd or 5th floor it would have more privacy but not the view or as close to the beach.

Just returned-yes the rooms need updated but our unit on the 5th floor was clean and any problems were handled promptly when we called.

Enjoy
