just returned from 5 weeks at divi village. what a great time. during the members meeting we were shown pics of the newly remodeled rooms and told the complete renovations will start in may, hopefully completed by next year. they said they would start with building 6, then 7, then 3 and finally 8. The pics were great. also said no new assessment for the remodeling. hope not, although people we met who stay at phoenix said the were assessed one weeks extra maintenance. we shall see.

That sounds great John. We are leaving next Saturday for DV for 3 weeks and have heard about the remodel. It's long overdue IMHO - they've been promising us this for years. And we've been patient. We are so excited that our vacation time is finally here. I sure hope they dont have a new assessment as this should just be considered part of maintenance, and we've been paying our fees all along. Frankly we've been in Bldg.7 since they were first built, and the rooms were getting in pretty bad shape. I mean it's not like we just didn't like the decor or anything. Everything just started falling apart (kind of like me - haha). I would be kinda disappointed if they charged us for this as they've never done anything to the rooms since they were first built. Glad to hear what a great time you had. I just can't wait to get there. It's my 2nd home. Thanks for the update.
