Question Board Members Candidates

Post submitted to Costa Linda Bulletin Board - Joy Viapree

This was discussed in your Thursday Jan 11th Managers Meeting. A lot people has questions about the comments.

Could you clarify the procedures for applying and what the Deadline Dates are?

Usually all Resumes/CVs need to be submitted by Jan 31st for review by the Board Members in their February Board Meeting. They select the candidates to be included in the Convocation package and also have Board Committee Chairs interview potential candidates that would serve on their Committees.

Questions:

1 . Is it true that NO resumes will be screened and everyone will get included?

2. Has a notice gone out for Candidate Submittals?

3. What is the Deadline for Resume/Cv submittals?

I just sat for at least a half hour and typed a bunch of questions which were very important to me. I was logged in! When I hit the 'Submit Reply' button I was asked to log in again! All that typing..... GONE! Any chance they can be plucked from cyber-space and posted? Thank you. JY

I'm sorry I dont the know answer to your question, JY. I just tried to find it but cannot locate it. I would think it is gone since it was not posted. Unfortunately, our queen is bit under the weather today and may not be able to answer you!

the queen is awake again and actually checking the board while in bed. unfortunately i don't have the answer either. it is one of those flukes that happens and really pisses me off (can i get away with that word since i am sick?) i had it happen earlier today when i was trying to ban a guy selling viagra. it is actually not a flaw in our software but instead a 'things happen' kind of thing.

i might suggest that if you are going to compose something long, prepare it off line on your word processor and then copy and paste it. doesn't help you for what you already did but sure can save you frustration in the future.

now, i am going back and take my 10th nap of the day.

Hi, again, Well, after reading Greg's new Summary Letter describing all the problems with the new Board I decided to try to re-write which of the original questions I could remember. So, I proceeded to type.....typing and editing as I go..... took a bit of time. Long story short, and I was logged in, I had to be or I could not have been able to type a response, and after typing and proofing, I hit 'submit' and it blew away again. So, I e-mailed a copy of a printout to Greg. I've tried to cut/paste but it won't work. Sorry. I think a person posting in this BB will get 'timed out' after a while and I know I was typing for a while. I'm stumped. Again.... Sorry. JY
