Default Here now, and lovin' it as usual!

Was busy before we left, and finally had a minute to post. Checked in on Friday and FINALLY got a chance to meet Liliana. Still working on the 5th floor right hand side building and running about 2 weeks behind due to furniture delays (according to Liliana). No owner's meeting this week, but will try to get a peek as to how things are going up there. Can't comment on the construction noise since 1). nothing happening until Tuesday and 2). we're on the 3rd floor.

Did get a nice surprise when we went to the island today; the cafe was totally redone! Looks GREAT, and the new menu was super (too bad we couldn't eat most of it.....).

Since we're renewing our wedding vows next year, went to Friday night services and met Rabbi Kripper. Seems like a super nice guy! Meeting with the convention person Tuesday and will probably post some questions here for you locals.

Hit a few new restaurants and a few old favorites so far. Made reservations for Fri/Sat/Sun thinking we'd need them due to the holiday weekend, but to our surprise, it seems pretty slow here. Probably due to the fact that a lot of the east coast schools cut their spring break due to the weather? Will post a review in the restaurant section later.

Anyway, great people, great weather, great place! Dreading Friday already......

I Love Aruba Re: Here now, and lovin' it as usual!

Stu...

Thanks for sharing with us, and glad you're having a great time.

I think it's great that you're renewing your vows.

Every year I say I'm going to go to services on Friday night, but so far I haven't done it.

Enjoy the rest of your week!!

Thanks for sharing! I guess we should always expect delays when working with "Aruba time" Heading there in July--not concerned about a renovated versus non renovated room, but hope the construction noise is not an issue around the pool. Oh well, progress is not without its downsides...

Finally had a chance to post reviews of the restaurants we went to. Check out the restaurant section.
