This time next Friday, we'll be at the Ren. Someone told us that there is a kosher restaurant on the island. Any of the locals know? Would be great to hit there for Passover.
Thanks! Stu |

Unfortunately there is no kosher restaurant on the island, but the local supermarkets all carry Passover food which we have purchased for the holiday and cooked in our unit. You can get cookies, matzoh, macaroons, etc and eat them during the holiday. Elaine - from your mouth to G-ds ears. Just a thought - call the temple and ask them where you can get what you want.

Wish I was going to be there, Liz. Calling the synagogue's a great idea!
Too bad no kosher deli ever took off... |

Thanks, barbiesara2003.
We were going to bring a box of Matzoh, but maybe we'll just grab one at Ling's. Stu |

We have always shopped ay Kong Hing and never had a problem finding matzoh, macaroons, etc. They even have matzoh from Holland in a small round box, orange in color, with the word "Hollandia" on it. That item would be with the crackers and at the end of an aisle you will find macaroons, cookies, etc. Very often our April/May trip comes out during Passover, so we have become familiar with these items. Good luck and Happy Passover.

Great, Kong Hing is much closer; we can even walk (not that we can't walk to Ling & Sons!).
