Excellent food, been there twice. However, I and my family tend to become very full simply from cold buffet, even before hot food comes.

Recommendations: Pineapple, Lamb with horseradish dip (excellent).

We prefer Texas deBrazil over this restaurant...seems the meat is more tender and you don't feel like sardines at TdB.

Our friends Tony & Marlene wanted to try this place. I’m sure that everyone knows how it works. First you help yourself to a nice salad bar, then you turn your shaker to green for “go” – bring on the orgy of meats. At first it was slow and we only got a few bites at a time – then our plates were suddenly full and we had to turn the shaker over to red – “stop.” One really nice thing about this meal is that it takes awhile and we had a lot to catch up on over the past year since seeing Tony & Marlene. The food was good – not great. The side dishes (fried plantains, fried bananas, garlic mashed potatoes & cheese rolls) were very good. It is a nice way to taste a lot of different meats. It was $176 for 4 meals, 2 coffees & 1 dessert – with 15% included. Too bad we forgot out VisitAruba card for 15% off.

I like the sound of this place - I wanted us to go to Texas de Brazil because it sounded like we'd eat a cow's worth of food, but I think I like the sound of this place even better!

Food was outstanding. If you are not a meat eatter, don't waste your money. This is a meat lover's paradise. Salad bar was outstanding as well. Pricey, but most nice places are in Aruba!

Thumbs up Re: Amazonia

You can request that certain meats be served to your table or that you get your meat cooked a certain way if you want. We have dined here several times and have always had a great experience. Don't fill up on the salad bar (even though it is great) because you won't have room for the rest of the meal.
