Nice place. Had a spaghetti for 2 dish that they make in this cheese bowl. Interesting and very good.

Sole Mare is on our list of restaurants to visit every year.

The food is excellent. I would say the prices are slightly above average, about $45.00 per person.

Reservations are recommended.

You know we love Hostoria de Vittoria...BUT...it was terrible this time! Very dissappointing! I'm well aware that places have "off nights" but even the service stunk. I had to repeat myself several times before the waiter understood me (Not Italian and I don't think Arubian). I'm still waiting for the butter I asked for, LOL.

Sole Mare's decor is a little tacky for my taste with the yellow walls with flowers and vines painted on them, but the food was excellent. Dinner for 2 was 200.00 with tip (that included 2 bottles of Pinot Grigio Santa Margarita). I had a special fettucini with lobster and clams casino and Steve had...Pasta Fagoli(sp) and Linguini and Clam sauce. He said they both were the tastiest he'd had in a long long time (and those 2 are favorites of his).

Ate at alot of "new" (for us) places this trip...will write them all up when I have time.

The VERY BEST italian food on the island, bar none. And I would say it rivals the best in the north end of Boston....it's that good. Location is good in Noord on main road. And what can you say about Carlos, perhaps the best waiter on the face of this earth. Everythiong is perfect here and the service is spectacular.

All meals were fantastic along with the outstanding service and ambiance.We had the pasta that is prepared in the cheese wheel, friends had Chicken Parmigiana and a veal dish. MMMMM the deserts!!
