Default Just returned from Divi Phoenix

9/09 Really enjoyed our stay in the new unit at the Phoenix. Bldg D is still under interior construction but the 3 other bldgs are in use. The pool, restaurant & bar are complete also. The pool could use more shaded areas though. The extended beach area was clean w/new palapas & not crowded. The new parking area is still a work in progress but useable.
We ate at both restaurants, Sunset Bisto still has great food & setting, Pure Beach was great also with a more varied menu. Made use of the pool bar, the prices weren't bad & even better at happy hour.
Per management, a coffee shop & beach towel bldg are in the works for the new area. Also the office space above Pure Beach will eventually be another restaurant.
Construction still ongoing in the tower. The new sliding doors looked complete & the new lobby/check-in is progressing. No real noise or problems from the construction.

A lot more should be completed by the time you arrive. I was told they plan to be finished around the end of the year. BUT.. we also heard that same song for the end of 2008. Hoping for the best!

Sorry, I have no knowlwdge of any wholly owned condos in the new Phoenix bldgs. There are 2 br units on the upper floors but are time share as far as I know.
Maybe at Divi Links, I beleive they are selling homes along the golf course.

I Love Aruba Re: Just returned from Divi Phoenix

The Residences at Divi Links are being sold as year round condo living. I never heard anything about selling some of the Phoenix units for year round living.

Are the 2 story units at the new Villas at Divi Phoenix (on the 7th-8th floors) 2 or 3 bedrooms?

We were told that some of the units in the Beach Villas were sold for year round living. Not sure of the specifics, other than there is a monthly maintenance charge likie any other condo.

I will look into that when we are there in October and will report back to the bulletin board.

Would you happen to know where the 3 bedroom timeshares would be posted for rent? I am looking for a three bedroom the first week of January. Thanks.
