delta deceptive

delta runs ads saying if you have the gold amex skymiles card your first bag is free. we have that card, but when my wife flew mich to atlanta last week the charged $23/bag each way. when i call delta they said amex has to link to delta and i then called amex. they said only the "owner" of the card gets the free bag. since the account is in my name she is only an extra user and has to pay. sure don't say that in the ads. guess when we use up our ff miles it's the end of that card.
