We've been there since day one and love it. We're just going into 705 this year but I expect the view will be quite good. It's the sunset side and high enough that the garden units won't interfere. We were in the smaller one bedroom but wanted more room and the second balcony so made the move from 806. (before that 1104 then 1206 weeks 41 & 42)

We don't have any complaints but I know there are some who do. Overall I think they've done a pretty decent job maintaining the property and we're happy. There's always something to complain about if you're inclined, but we've never had an issue that was more than a minor inconvenience.

The staff Is great with many of them being there since it opened. It's quiet and relaxing which is what we look for and if we want noise and glitz, we head up the street. For relaxing on the beach, it's perfect and the hammocks are great!

Welcome Kevin,
I've owned at the Phoenix since 95 and bought a resale last year for verrrry short money.. Alot of complaints about this resort but you won't hear any from me.. I luv the very quiet and layed back attitude here. No combat beach, not having to get up at 6:00 and wait till 8:00am to get a palapa. Nice friendly staff. (We just love Chrisine in th Deli).
If your looking for a nice quiet layed back resort, this is the one. To some, they've said it's boring. To each his own.. I like the quiet time after workin 50 weeks a year to get there.
Feel free to email me if you have any questions.. I will tell you, This isn't the Hyatt.. and this isn't the Riu.. But you'll be very happy after you stay here and check out the other places and their beaches..
Welcome

Phoenix bound 4/25/08-5/10/08

thnx for info. i am excited about our purchase @ phoenix i also like the quiet atmosphere i'm willing to make that walk for any excitment i may need, i also like the idea of not having a casino at my beckon call maybe save a few bucks. checked out marriot t/s was floored by price. my wife and i have eaten at phoenix, lunch, and sunset dinner many times and we always commented on how much we liked the facility. and atmosphere we are loking forward to our first stay week 35. would like to from others staying that week. go red sox

Hi Kevin. Just had to respond even though it has been a while since you posted your message. We have week 11 in 705. I am sure you will like the room a lot. The two balconies are great, the sunsets are my favorite time out there.
