Smile Flying Fishbone Or Passions?

I need to make a fast decision. Which one and why?

I like both places. I think I would choose Flying Fishbone first but only if you have a car or don't mind paying a hefty taxi fare. Flying Fishbone has more high-end cuisine (and of course, higher prices). So, if you want to save a little money on the drive and on the food, go with Passions. We were just at Passions a couple of weeks ago and loved it there - felt like we were the only ones there because they space out the tables pretty well so you're not right next to anyone - service was very attentive and they had a singer for background music (very nice ambiance.) Our food was also wonderful.

Here's our photo at Passions:

You will never go wrong with ArubaAmy's advice. If you have never been and have a car, definitely the Flying Fishbone.

Recently when my parents were on the island, they did not have a car so went to Passions instead and they were very very happy with their meal and the experience.

Thanks for your fast response. This is what I did.........I made a reservation at Flying Fishbone for Wednesday AND Passions on Sunday. We will have a car and I just hope we don't drive around for hours getting lost Last year we had a private beach dinner for 2 at the Hyatt. It was amazing but, the bill was almost $400 (lots of drinks) I'm hoping both places are just as good but a little cheaper

I made both reservations for 6pm to see the sunset. Do you think this is a good time?

That's great that you're going to both!

Our bill at Passions was about $120 - this was for 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, a bottle of wine, one glass of wine, and one French coffee.

6pm sounds right. We ate at Passions at 6:30pm and just caught the sunset so 6pm probably would have been better to be able to sit back and relax a bit with some drinks before the sun goes down.

It's located on Eagle Beach at Amsterdam Manor and they're only open from Thurs.-Sun.

Here is the link to their website (which has a link to the menu):

You don't have to have reservations but they are highly recommended because they set up the tables every night for the amount of people who have made reservations. If you do show up last minute they will put a table together for you but you'll have to give them a few minutes to set everything up.

I believe the earliest reservation would be 6pm.

You can email any quesions/reservations to: foodandbeverage@amsterdammanor.aw
