Papaya Hot Sauce
Just back from this year's trip. Our timeshare is at the Marriott Ocean Club where they prepare a fish taco that is served with a papaya hot sauce. I am seriously desperate to find some but don't know the name or where to get any.
Can anyone help me?

we ran around the island collecting jars a few years ago. the stuff is great. they also used to sell it at the airport.
you might want to turn on skype on you computer and call there. however, i don't think it is sold anywhere off island. Quote:

cohen, i provided a phone number earlier in this thread. you might want to try calling them and asking if they ship it. otherwise, you need to beg a friend or two to bring it back for you, lol.

You can buy the jars at Super Food. There are, I believe, two different brands now that make Hot Sauce. I think it's great to see local products in the supermarket.

They have one hotsauce made from Madame Jeanettes peppers and one made from Papaya. The Papaya is a bit milder. They come in small jars and they have a "gift" edition. Hans loves the pepper ones but he has learned how to make his own sauce with fresh madame jeanette peppers and onions. So he now does that.
There are also jars (more like small ketchup bottles) with three different kinds of sauces. We haven't tried those yet.
