Vow Renewal Planning & Trash the Dress Photos-So Excited!

My husband and I will be celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary in Aruba on August 19th and decided to have an intimate, beachside, informal Vow Renewal and champagne toast, followed by a "trash the dress" photo shoot ( I have really wanted to do this and can't wait!) and a romantic dinner to celebrate.

I contacted Angela from Bella Aruba Photography and Edwina from E2 Events and Celebrations and they promptly, professionally and courteously handled all of the arrangements (Reverend Robert Gibson is performing the ceremony) and we could not be happier! I am a wedding planner in NY and HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to anyone planning a wedding, vow renewal or any other affair requiring their services.

I will post photos afterward and know our 1st Anniversary will better than we imagined because they are such competent, caring and thorough professionals. They are so accommodating and I am grateful to have found them.

don't tell me where it will be or we are going to crash it, lol. we will be on the island at that time. i want to see the 'trash the dress' photo shoot. just kidding. we would never crash a wedding someone else's event, but i do think it's a neat idea.

LOL- I will post photos after. Thanks for the well wishes! I wanted to do a trash the dress shoot after our wedding, but, didn't want to ruin my gown, so I purchased a more beach appropriate dress and decided to do it for our 1st anniversary, in our favorite place! I thought it would be special and memorable, besides the only other professional pictures we have are from our wedding! I am really looking forward to it.

Where are you staying and how long will you be there?

we are in aruba for two weeks starting 8/8. the first week we are at aruba beach villas in malmok and the second week we will be at costa linda.

NICE! We are will be there from the 15th until the 25th and are staying at the Marriott Ocean Club. I am so looking forward to the rest, relaxation and snorkeling (my favorite!).

snorkeling is one of our things too. plan to spend quite a bit of time doing just that. we are ticking down the minutes now. it can't come soon enough.

Thanks for the photos- Angela and Edwina are so creative and decided we would do an "Aruba Experience" photos shoot which would encompass us taking photos at various locations on the island (ie, the rough side, Alto Vista Chapel, the Lighthouse, Natural Bridge, etc.) and then ending at sunset on Eagle Beach- I can't wait AND my husband is now getting excited too!

where is your favorite place to snorkel on the island?

although mangel halto is the best, we rarely get to that area. we do love malmok. certainly not the variety of fish there but the most relaxed snorkeling i have ever done. i am so not picky about where i snorkel. it's all about getting wet and relaxing in the water.
