just got back from 2 weeks at divi village. more rain than we have ever seen, but still a good 2 weeks.enjoyed the pool daily and the beach a couple of times. got thrown around on the beach and flipped over. think i am getting too old for that. as usual, the restaurants were great and we enjoyed seeing friends we have not seen in few years. went to the hi rises to shop for grandaughter and just amazed at how crowded they are. glad that divi has gone out and not up. spent way too much money at alhambra, but good to see old freinds at craps table. over all, a great 2 weeks and looking forward to 5 weeks jan 20-feb22

Welcome back to reality. Sorry to hear about all the rain. We've seen pictures of the beaches. How much erosion was there in front of Divi Divi and Divi Tamarjin? I am always amazed at how crowded it is in the high rise area in the evenings. I find the prices of the merchandise up there very expensive. Even though you donated money to Alhambra-----you had fun, and that's what it's all about when we are in Aruba.

Welcome back John. Wow, still a lot of rain, huh? I stopped checking Aruba weather for a while. Well from what you said, at least it wasn't a total washout. Thanks for the update - going to DV in March. And I'm with you 100% - glad Divi spread out and not up.
