1 Bedroom Weeks 6 and 7, 2009 at LaCabana

Gound floor 1 bedroom, Sleeps 4, on quite side of building. This unit is in the Beach and Racquet club. Very short walk to beach. Parking just steps away. $700 per week or $150 perday. Weeks 6 and 7 are from Friday Feb 6th to Friday Feb 20. Also have tickets on American Airlines from Miami direct to Aruba.

My husband and i will be celebrating our 29th anniversary in Feb and would like to do a "get away' sometime in Feb. We have been to Aruba twice before. I was wondering if there was any more info you could share with me for week 6 at LaCabana. We have been to Aruba but stayed at manchebo and Aruba Beach club. We know where The Aruban is but are unsure of where this condo is in relation to the property and to the beach. I know there is a building closer to the water and then another set farther back. Where is your condo in relation to the beach? also, is there a decent sized casino on the property? We are used to being able to walk across the beach to Alhambra! If we were abel to work this out, we may only be able to come on the 6th but may have to leave on the 12th. We are looking into this!

also, is the price firm? It is kind of short notice for us but maybe a possiblilty!

Congratulations on your 29th. You can go to the following web site http://www.lacabanabrc.com/members/rooms_brc.shtml for the room location. It is Room 137 A. AS you can see the building in near the beach and 137 A is close to the Beach. From more information on La Cabana you can go to http://www.lacabanabrc.com/members/checkin.shtml Yes there is a good size Casino on the property near the building called the La Cabana Villas in the rear of the property. It is not a big as Alhambra but I play there and they have all the games and are very friendly. There usually is not a wait to play at this Casino I too always went to Alhambra as I owned at CDM Years ago. If you want to go to Alhambra it is less than a 5 minute drive from the La Cabana.

If you wish the unit for 6 day I will let you have it for $100.00 per day

Thank you for writing back to me so quickly. I just stumbled on this today and I will speak with my husband tonight. A assume this is the building that is closest to the beach. I am not quite sure of all the la Cabana property but from the road it appears there is one building closer to the beach and behind this building, there is another building. Is the pools and such in the middle of these condos or if there is another building, are they back there? Also, do you know if the public bus transportation is accessible from this property? do you happen tohave any pics of your unit?? I am interested and will keep you posted, as soon as I know more! Also, I was curious, how about the tickets from Miami? We have two friends who are already traveling to florida on the 6th and they will be there until the 14th I think. They may choose to scoot down for a couple of days, if the tickets are reasonable! Whatever you can provide for info on that is helpful!

Yes the building is closest to the beach. If you look at the web site La Cabana Beach and Racquet Club Aruba lacabanabrc.com will answer most of your questions concerning the property. The pool is in the middle of the building we are in. So it is on the other side of the building. Just a short walk. Public trans (bus stop) is just a few minutes walk. It is located in the front of the building on the beach side. Pic of the unit are on the Web site.

If interested I will check with American Airlines to see what the fee is to change the name on the tickets.
